3.7 Humity and hot conditions
(a) Store the electrically power assisted bicycle for not less than 20 h in

standard ambient conditions with the electrically power assisted bicycle

switched off.

(b) Carry out the functional check specifie d in Section 4.
(c) Leaving the electrically power assisted bicycle switched on, subject it to a

temperature of 40℃±2℃ and humity 93％for not less than 96 h.

(d) Inspect the electrically power assisted bicycle for evidence that any driven

part has moved.
(e) Conduct the functional check specified in Clause 4 commencing within 5

min of completion of d).

4. Functional check

The function check is to determine that the power assisted function can be
started normally after the power and power assisted modes of the electrically

power assisted bicycle are turned on before and after the environmental

conditions test in Sections 3.3 to 3.7 is performed.
