Steering geometry

The steering geometry employed, as shown in Figure D.1, will generally be dictated
by the use for which EPAC is intended but it is nevertheless recommended that:

a) the steering head angle be not more than 75° and not less than 65° in relation to
the ground line; and

b) the steering axis intersects a line perpendicular to the ground line, drawn through

the wheel centre, at a point not lower than 15 % and not higher than 60 % of the
wheel radius when measured from the ground line.
