自行車暨健康科技工業研究發展中心致力於提升台灣自行車產品之品質深受業界好評,擁有國際級之檢測實驗室,並通過TAF國際實驗室之相互認可,也取得日本自轉車協會唯一全球海外委託執行SBAA運動自行車商標制度檢查業務之認可機構,除此之外更可執行各國標準及非標準之測試,已達到服務業界公信檢測為目的。
另外,為要求更高的品質,展現更大的優勢,自行車零組件性能測試,是將自行車騎乘者主觀感受,利用實驗室相關檢測與擷取,將其產品相關特性利用數值轉換而成量化之表現,讓生產得以了解產品品質優異,更讓消費者得以了解產品特性。
在電動車型式審驗部份,在裝有馬達、電池及控制器的自行車我們均認定為電動輔助自行車,依道路交通安全規則的規定,是指經型式審驗合格,以人力為主,電力為輔,最大行駛速率在每小時25公里以下,且車重在40公斤以下之二輪車輛。目前已有許多廠商之產品領有交通部型式審驗合格證書,合法上路。隨著電動車輛產品的創新發展及法規的修訂,以電力為主,最大行駛速率在每小時25公里以下,且車重(不含電池)在40公斤以下,二輪的電動自行車亦已納入道路交通安全規則的規範。而此類電動自行車必須經型式審驗合格,領有交通部型式審驗合格證書,方有路權。
依據新修訂的道路交通安全規則,經型式審驗合格的電動輔助自行車及電動自行車均屬慢車,目前自行車暨健康科技研發中心具備電動輔助自行車及電動自行車型式審驗之檢測能量,有意發展此兩類電動車輛之業者如有相關檢測事項,可洽詢CHC。
The central mission of Cycling & Health Tech Industry R&D Center is to elevate bicycle production quality in Taiwan. We have state of art testing laboratory and is an accredited member of ILAC, mutually recognized through TAF international laboratory, and the sole authorized overseas dealer that's certified by the SBAA mark certification system other than Japan. This ultimately means we are fully capable of using international standard methods and non-standard methods with impartiality.
Furthermore, we pursuit the highest quality in bicycle parts performance testing through the perspective of the rider's experience. Using raw testing data and from our labs, we provide critical and essential information on the quality of the product. This not only allows producers fully understand the quality of the materials in production, it also brings consumers closer to the feature of the products.
From EPAC(electrically power assisted cycles) examine perspective, we define EPAC as bicycles with motor, battery and controller. According to traffic safety ruling, this type of bicycle must be primarily powered by the biker, with electric motor support to 2 wheels and weigh less than 40 Kilograms with top speed under 25 kilometers per hour. Current market has many companies obtaining traffic departmental certification to produce legal electric bicycles that meets safety governing traffic laws. In other words, only when obtaining corresponding certificate will EPAC have the right-of-way.
