Verification of free-fall velocity
For all vertical impact tests, the striker shall be guided in such a way that the efficiency will permit to
reach at least 95 % of the free-fall velocity.
The free-fall velocity is calculated using Formula (B.1):

g is the gravitational acceleration (m/s ) (i.e. = 9,806 65 m/s );
